recurring monthly revenue (RMR) model which
offers businesses with the tools to launch their
own VaaS products and services quickly and

everything from designing their own dedicated
VaaS website, web hosting, marketing materials,
business cards, pricing structure, lead
generation and access to our Partner Portal.
What
is Video as a Service (VaaS)?
Video
as a Service
is a term coined by byRemote to describe our family of surveillance video storage products.
The VaaS products offers surveillance solutions
on a budget- friendly, on-demand subscription basis.
Your clients pay for only what they need. It is
the perfect video surveillance management tool for
small-to-medium business (SMB) and residential clientele.
These products include:

Hosted
Video as a Service (HVaaS): The
video is stored on a remote servers in a
shared environment. The video is
recorded for a user-selected time frame
at 1 frame per second (FPS) in standard
resolution of 320x240 or 352x240 pixels.
This product is ideal for small business
or residential customers who do not have
the time, resources or space available
to have a recording device at their
location(s). The servers are maintained
by byRemote's Video Network Operations
Center (VNOC) with periodic status
notifications and updates. This is a
month-by-month service with no contracts
required from byRemote. Each partner has
the ability to choose whether they want
to require a contract from their
customers.
Managed
Video as a Service (MVaaS): The
video is stored on an on-premise storage
server (SAN, NAS) or PC. The video can
be recorded in standard, high or
megapixel resolutions. The resolution,
time frame and frames per second (FPS) are
selectable by video feed individually.
This product is ideal for customers who
wish to outsource the management of the
system to another party. Remote
maintenance and management is provided
by byRemote or the partner including
software updates/upgrades, OS updates,
system health checks, monitoring of
storage device and recording status with
notifications of any off-line devices. A
12-month contract is required for this
service.
Managed
Video Data Center (MVDC): The video
is stored on a dedicated server located
remotely at a secure hosting facilities.
The video can be recorded in standard or
high resolutions
depending on the number of cameras and
bandwidth available at the camera
location. This product is ideal for
multi-location businesses needing
dedicated storage for their cameras.
This provides them with enough disk
space and bandwidth as well as one login
to access all of their locations from
one interface. A 12-month contract is
required for this service.
Managed
Time Lapse Video (MTLV): The video
is stored on a dedicated server located
remotely at our secure hosting
facilities. This product is ideal for
customers who need from 1-3 snapshots
per day for longer time frames of up to
6 months or more. At the end of their
project, a video is compiled using all
of the archived images to create a time
lapse video which the client can keep as
a record of their project. This is a
month-by-month service with no contracts
required from byRemote. Each partner has
the ability to choose whether they want
to require a contract from their
customers. |
